We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join a high-performing mobile engineering team in Toronto. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance secure, scalable, and user-friendly iOS applications while contributing to the full mobile application lifecycle.

📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, testing, release, and support)
• Build and evolve modern iOS applications used by millions of users
• Develop secure, scalable, and high-quality mobile applications
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces following Apple's design guidelines
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Create and maintain unit tests and end-to-end tests
• Address security vulnerabilities identified through code scans and penetration testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
• Contribute to code quality, documentation, and automation initiatives

Required Skills

• 5+ years of native iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift
• Expertise with Foundation, UIKit, Core Data, WebKit, and UIAccessibility
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and RxSwift
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile application security
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security principles
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization
• Experience with Git and version control best practices
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience publishing applications to the App Store
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in CI/CD environments
• Android development experience
• Experience with React Native or Flutter
• Familiarity with modern DevOps and mobile release processes
