Front End (UI) Web Application Developer

16 month contract- Fully Onsite in Regina

Looking for a Front End (UI) Web Application Developer to join the Technology team to assist in developing a suite of custom applications to support our program. The team requires specifically only a Front End (UI) developer

Mandatory Experience:

5+ years of Front End development experience including proficiency with React/HTML/CSS including CSS abstraction layers (tallwind, sass, or similar)

Experience using React development across different ecosystems (Tanstack, Vite, or Next.js, or similar)

Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards Experience building design systems and component libraries

Experience with client-side state management and data-flow

Proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript

Proficiency with frontend unit testing frameworks (Jest, React-testing-library, or similar) Proficiency with Git for source control Knowledge/ability to work with CI/CD pipelines as a consumer

Experience building SPA's that integrate across a variety of back-end architectures, API styles and communication protocols

Ability to implement user friendly failover patterns with front-end observability (logging, error handling)

Proficiency managing and optimizing SPA performance

Desired Experience:

Familiarity with modern .NET frameworks

Writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of hosting across serverlesss, containers, and IaaS/PaaS platforms

Deliverables:

Writing, testing, and deployment of code Consumption of CI/CD pipelines

Produce front-end user interfaces, components and reusable elements based on visual design Code management Peer reviews Documentation of code Demo of code
