Product Compliance Manager

Ondato is a leading provider of identity verification, compliance, and KYC solutions, helping businesses streamline onboarding processes and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. 

We are looking for a Product Compliance Manager with strong expertise in KYB, KYC, AML, and global regulatory compliance to support the development and evolution of compliance-focused product capabilities. 

The position acts as a subject matter expert and internal consultant to Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and customers to ensure that compliance best practices are embedded into product design, customer workflows, onboarding journeys, and regulatory processes across multiple jurisdictions. 

You will serve as a compliance competence hub, helping teams understand regulatory expectations, interpret country-specific requirements, and translate compliance obligations into scalable product solutions. 

What you will do 

• Act as the internal subject matter expert on KYB, KYC, AML, sanctions, and related compliance domains. 
• Advise Product and Engineering teams on integrating compliance best practices into product features and workflows. 
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across different countries and regions. 
• Support the design of compliant onboarding, verification, screening, monitoring, risk scoring, case management. 
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to address compliance-related product questions and requirements. 
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical product recommendations and operational guidance. 
• Contribute to product strategy by identifying compliance risks, market requirements, and regulatory opportunities. 
• Promote a strong compliance culture across product and business teams. 

What we are looking for 

• +5 years of experience in AML, KYC, KYB, financial crime compliance, regulatory compliance, or related domains ideally in fintech, payments, banking, identity verification, RegTech, or SaaS environments. 
• Strong understanding of global AML/KYC regulations and compliance frameworks. 
• Experience working closely with Product or Technology teams. 
• Ability to interpret regulations and convert them into business and product requirements. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk awareness.
