Our client is a fast-growing, internationally established telecommunications service provider delivering advanced voice and messaging services worldwide. The business is now entering its next phase of growth, with ambitions for significant expansion driven by continued product development and platform evolution, and a particular focus on embedding AI and machine learning capabilities across its offering.

To support this next stage of growth, we are seeking a high-impact Chief Technology Officer who combines deep technical and operational leadership with strong strategic foresight. The CTO will operate in a scaling, product-driven environment, requiring the credibility and capability to remain hands-on when needed, including architecting systems and evaluating code, while also shaping a multi-year technology vision. This is a pivotal leadership role that will define how the company innovates, scales and delivers on its growth ambitions.

We are seeking a leader who is both technologist and strategist: someone willing to remain hands-on while also operating at a strategic level and bringing a clear view of the bigger picture. A genuine motivation to build, modernise and lead a technology function will be essential. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of technology trends across voice, messaging and telecommunications, alongside the ability to drive change, lead transformation and oversee the adoption of new technologies. A background in software engineering within telecommunications, VoIP or real-time communications is essential, including expertise in VoIP/SIP protocols, PSTN interconnection and voice network architecture.
