GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dedicated engineering team for a sophisticated medical technology project. In this role, you will act as the “infrastructure glue,” ensuring the stability, scalability, and observability of a multi-region SaaS architecture. Your work will be divided into two primary areas: infrastructure provisioning via established runbooks and the management of CI/CD and observability pipelines within an AWS environment.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 4–6 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Cloud Expertise: Advanced proficiency in managing and optimizing services within AWS.
• IaC Tools: Deep experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code.
• Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized workloads.
• Automation Tooling: Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions and Harness for CI/CD automation.
• Observability Stack: Proficient with Grafana and Loki for monitoring and log management.
• Mobile DevOps: Familiarity with iOS build pipelines and mobile CI/CD release processes (nice to have)
• Regulated Industry: Experience delivering software within a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare or medical devices) is highly preferred.
• English: Upper-intermediate to Advanced for effective coordination with distributed teams.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

Infrastructure Provisioning & Migration

• Environment Provisioning: Use existing runbooks to provision and manage environments utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Kubernetes Migration: Own the infrastructure workstream for migrating software components to Kubernetes (K8s).
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain the “infrastructure glue”, ensuring all AWS-based services are reliable and secure.
  
  
  

CI/CD & Observability

• Pipeline Automation: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness.
• Observability: Implement and manage observability stacks using Grafana and Loki to ensure deep visibility into system performance and logs.
• iOS Support: Help configure and support CI/CD pipelines for iOS mobile development as a secondary workstream.
• Build & Release: Oversee build systems and release pipelines to ensure seamless delivery across all product environments.
