Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing scalable REST APIs, microservices architecture, cloud-based applications, and backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, NestJS, and Express.js.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for web and mobile applications.
• Develop microservices and integrate third-party APIs with proper validations and security.
• Work on authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and user management.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to define API contracts and ensure smooth integration.
• Optimize backend performance, troubleshoot issues, and debug production applications.
• Implement cloud-based services using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Kibana for monitoring and reporting.
• Manage databases including MySQL and MongoDB.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js backend development.
• Hands-on expertise in NestJS and Express.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience in GraphQL (Apollo Server/Client).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and cloud deployments.
• Good understanding of authentication mechanisms like JWT.
• Experience with validation libraries such as JOI.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Postman, and Jira.
• Experience with Kibana dashboards and visualization.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
• Exposure to healthcare, finance, gaming, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architecture is an added advantage.
