Assignment Start: ASAP

Assignment End: 31st May 2027 (Possible Extension)

Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day / 5 Days per Week - Remote Work 2-3 Days per Week

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Clients IT's department Asset Analytics Distribution.

Duties are:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
• Ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources to enable reliable analytics and reporting.
• Develop semantic models and create Power BI reports to support data-driven decision making.
• Perform data quality checks, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Document and communicate data engineering processes and outcomes.
• Support data awareness and training initiatives within the organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as Data engineer
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python and (including CICD)
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modelling
• Hands-on experience and confident working with large data volumes is a plus (tables holding trillion of rows)
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts
• Familiarity with Power BI
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer
• Excellent communication skills Swedish and English
