Job Title: Senior Python Developer (FastAPI & Kong)

Location: Stockholm

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI, Kong API Gateway, and enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in workflow automation, API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies within AWS environments.

The role involves designing scalable backend services, building robust integrations, managing CI/CD pipelines, and working with modern messaging and observability platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI
• Build and manage enterprise-grade API integrations and workflow automation solutions
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services using industry-standard protocols and formats
• Implement and manage API Gateway solutions using Kong
• Work with microservices and cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Flux
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Integrate systems using ODBC/JDBC connectors and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS)
• Work with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route 53, and Cognito
• Develop integrations with messaging, queue, and streaming platforms
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
