BlueEMI is a licensed electronic money institution (EMI) based in Vilnius, providing financial services for SMEs. As the company continues to grow and integrate into a larger UK financial group, we are looking for a hands-on Information Security Officer to support and strengthen our local security operations.

Job description:

This is a practical, execution-focused security role for someone who enjoys solving real technical and operational challenges.

You will work closely with Group security stakeholders, external security partners, and internal IT/development teams to help implement and maintain security standards across the local business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve local IT and security operations
• Coordinate implementation of security controls and Group security requirements
• Manage and support topics related to access management, endpoint security, VPNs, and infrastructure security
• Help standardise and improve existing systems and security processes
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners on security-related initiatives and incidents

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in IT Security, Infrastructure Security, System Administration, or a similar technical role
• Practical understanding of infrastructure, systems, networks, and security controls
• Experience working in fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment is highly preferred
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Interest in growing into a broader security role over time

Salary range: €62,000 – €72,000 gross annually
