Payments Business Analyst / Open Banking Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in European Payments, PSD2, and Open Banking to support key regulatory and payments transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading business and technical analysis across payments, fraud, authentication, and open finance domains
• Translating regulatory and business requirements into epics, user stories, and functional specifications
• Conducting gap and impact analysis on existing systems and processes
• Defining business, data, and control requirements aligned to compliance and audit standards
• Collaborating with architecture, security, and technology teams to deliver compliant customer journeys and payment solutions
• Supporting development and testing teams throughout delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring smooth transition to BAU with appropriate controls, monitoring, and documentation
• Acting as the key liaison between business and technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of European payments landscape and regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience with PSD2 and Open Banking initiatives
• Experience working across payments processing, fraud prevention, and authentication projects
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
• Experience working in regulated financial services environments
