System Engineer

About the Role:

• The engagement supports system-level technical solutions for high and medium voltage power distribution systems in Process Industries projects.
• The objective is to define power system architectures, protection concepts, and technical boundary conditions to support sales operations and ensure consistent project execution.
• During implementation, the expert ensures that switchgears, protection relays, control systems, and auxiliary systems form a coherent, compliant, and operable overall power distribution system.
• The current phase focuses on system-level technical specialization, risk management, and guiding engineering teams under a common system philosophy.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in electrical power engineering for HV and MV power distribution systems
• Expert knowledge of protection and control principles, including protection relay testing, commissioning, and fault analysis
• Ability to define, validate, and approve overall power system architecture, operating philosophy, and protection concepts
• Proficiency in applying short-circuit calculations and protection selectivity principles
• Experience ensuring the technical integration of switchgear, protection relays, automation, and communication systems

Preferred Skills:

• Broad understanding of industrial and utility power systems alongside applicable industry standards
• Hands-on knowledge of HV/MV switchgear, protection relays, and substation automation solutions
• Strong risk management capabilities regarding short-circuit levels and protection performance
• Excellent communication, cooperation, and public presentation skills to align project engineers, suppliers, and customers
