Automation Engineer

About the Role:

• This engagement combines two key testing roles (Performance Test Engineer and Automation Test Engineer) into a unified technical delivery function.
• The engagement supports both performance testing and the development of wide-ranging test automation solutions (UI, API, mobile) integrated directly into agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
• The objective is to translate performance requirements into technical tests, analyze technical bottlenecks, and build modern automation frameworks to ensure high application code quality. The current phase focuses on further development and implementation within modern cloud environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter, Grinder, or LoadRunner)
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Robot Framework, Playwright)
• Advanced experience in software development, publishing environments, and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methods
• Experience utilizing test management and version control tools (Zephyr, Git)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure API, Visual Studio, SOAP, XML, BizTalk, and Azure Logic Apps
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based solutions and low-code platforms (Azure, PowerApps, PowerAutomate)
• Understanding of accessibility requirements and test environment management using cloud/container technologies
• Experience working in agile (Scrum) environments within the last 4 years
