Data Analyst – (Technology one)
Your new company
This organisation is undertaking a large-scale ERP transformation, implementing a modern SaaS ERP solution using a cloud-based platform.
The business is currently transitioning from a legacy on-premise ERP system to the new environment. While knowledge of the legacy system is not required, the programme represents a significant shift across systems, data, and business processes.
Your new role
You will play a key role in delivering a major ERP transformation programme. Responsibilities will align to the organisation’s contribution to the implementation and include:
- Defining and validating that the proposed ERP configuration meets business requirements
- Conducting end-to-end process testing to ensure expected outcomes are achieved
- Extracting and preparing data from legacy systems and other sources for migration
- Validating data accuracy following migration into the new ERP platform
- Supporting the design, build, testing, and deployment of integration solutions
- Contributing to organisational change initiatives, including communications and end-user training
Specific responsibilities include:
- Implementing data extraction and transformation solutions as defined by the Data Architect
- Supporting integration development at the data layer, including data mapping, transportation, and transformation rules
- Assisting with the development of business reporting by ensuring reliable and accessible data sources
What you'll need to succeed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in data analysis using enterprise tools (e.g. Power BI)
- 2+ years’ experience implementing or developing ETL frameworks
- Strong ability to document solution designs aligned to established patterns
- High proficiency in SQL
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory)
