Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Public Cloud, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and managing secure, scalable cloud environments, with a strong focus on platform engineering, governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage solutions on Azure Public Cloud (IaaS & PaaS)
• Implement and drive DevSecOps practices across cloud platforms
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Manage Azure Backup, Monitoring, and observability solutions
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker & Kubernetes
• Enforce governance using Azure Policy and compliance controls
• Develop reusable IaC modules and engineering standards
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Collaborate with teams in an Agile delivery environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Azure Public Cloud (IaaS & PaaS)
• Proven expertise in DevSecOps strategy and implementation
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Experience with Terraform (IaC) on Azure
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, logging, and backup solutions
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience implementing Azure Policies and governance
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in cloud environments
• Experience defining engineering standards and reusable modules

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Azure AI Foundry / Azure Machine Learning
• Experience with Azure Desired State Configuration (DSC)
• Prior experience in financial services / regulated environments
