We are looking for experienced and ambitious Ingres Developer with experience on working in C, C++ language and Unix platform. Working knowledge of Agile methodology is desirable.

Ingres Developer duties and responsibilities

This is what we are expecting from you as an Ingres Developer:

• Work independently end to end including development and testing.
• Develop applications using C as the programming language and work on Ingres database in Solaris/Linux platforms.
• Build the Ingres database from scratch and migrate the data.
• Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Monitor everyday activities of system and provide required support.

Skill Set for this role

• Knowledge on Ingres 4GL, Ingres ABF, QBF, ISQL, Database Procedures, Rules, Database Events.
• Strong hold on C and C++ programming languages.
• Database design and development (Ingres database)
• Ability to optimize the complex Ingres queries and suggest solutions.
• Experience in working on Solaris platform
• Experience with shell scripting.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Passion for technology
• Any experience on AWS cloud platform is an added advantage.
