Business Intelligence Analyst

About The Role

We’re seeking a BI Analyst / Power BI Developer to support the design and delivery of a business critical reporting initiative. This role plays a key part in improving reporting capability by delivering structured, insight driven dashboards that provide clear visibility across business performance, reporting metrics and operational trends.

In this hands on position, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to design, develop and deliver scalable Power BI reporting solutions. You’ll contribute across the full reporting lifecycle, supporting dashboard development, data modelling, transformation and documentation to ensure high quality and maintainable reporting outcomes.

You Should Have

• Strong experience with Power BI dashboard development and reporting solutions
• Experience designing and developing dashboards aligned to business reporting requirements
• Strong understanding of data modelling, transformations and reporting best practices
• Experience working with enterprise data sources, curated datasets and reporting environments
• Ability to gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting outputs
• Strong documentation capability across data models, calculations and reporting logic
• Experience building automated and maintainable reporting solutions
• Understanding of reporting governance, security standards and version control practices
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and reporting insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards aligned to existing reporting standards and practices
• Develop dashboard wireframes in consultation with stakeholders to support final reporting solutions
• Build reporting outputs that provide visibility across business metrics, trends and performance reporting
• Design flexible data models capable of supporting future reporting enhancements and ongoing maintainability
• Support automation using available enterprise data sources and implement controlled reporting approaches where required
• Develop reporting outputs suitable for business and leadership reporting requirements
• Document data models, transformations and calculations to support ongoing maintenance and enhancement
• Ensure reporting solutions align with existing governance, security and reporting standards
• Work closely with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and business narratives
• Support handover activities and establish clear ownership for ongoing support and enhancement of reporting solutions
