Senior Software Engineer – Backend for Frontend (BFF)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable BFF services for modern web and mobile e-banking applications. The role involves API development, backend orchestration, security implementation, and close collaboration with frontend, backend, and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services
• Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs
• Orchestrate backend services for frontend applications
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, security, and architecture teams
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with BFF architecture and API development
• Hands-on experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts
• Understanding of frontend integration requirements
• Experience working on security-critical systems (banking/fintech preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e-banking or financial services
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-based architectures
• Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
