Our Chrome extension lets teams create context-rich, AI-powered bug reports in seconds cutting reporting time by 90% and keeping devs happy. So far, users have zapped over 1.5 lakh bugs with BetterBugs (and counting).
Your Role
BetterBugs is a product-led SaaS. Your work will directly influence conversion, retention, and revenue; not just screens. You won’t be waiting months to ship. You’ll design → ship → measure → iterate continuously.
What You’ll Do
Your Role
- Own the core user experience at BetterBugs; from first user interaction to activation and growth.
- This is not a surface-level UI role. You’ll design flows that directly impact:
- Activation (create → share bug)
- Feature adoption
- User-driven growth etc
BetterBugs is a product-led SaaS. Your work will directly influence conversion, retention, and revenue; not just screens. You won’t be waiting months to ship. You’ll design → ship → measure → iterate continuously.
What You’ll Do
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear, structured product flows
- Design end-to-end experiences (reporting, sharing, notifications, integrations)
- Build and optimize growth loops (invites, advocacy, engagement)
- Use data + user behaviour to identify friction and improve UX
- Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ship fast and coordinate with them.
- Speak with potential clients for offerings and feedbacks.
- Leverage and hands-on with AI tools to accelerate design workflows; rapid ideation, UX writing, flow generation, and synthesizing user insights for faster iteration and decision-making.
- 3–5 years of product design experience (strict requirement)
- A portfolio showing real impact on metrics (not just visuals)
- Strong in UX thinking + UI execution
- Comfortable using AI as a core part of your workflow:
- Faster exploration and iteration
- Better UX writing and flows
- Synthesizing insights and feedback
- Solid understanding of:
- Design systems
- Responsive design
- Usability principles
- Strong ownership mindset:
- You don’t wait for instructions
- You think in terms of outcomes, not screens
- Bonus: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/React
- You only focus on visual design
- You need highly structured requirements to work
- You’re not comfortable working with data or metrics
