Associate Product Manager, Agile Delivery / eCommerce [209126]

This is a dynamic opportunity to join a leading retail and eCommerce organization, partnering with Aquent to drive innovation and efficiency in their critical operations. We’re hiring a contract Associate Product Manager to support the team during a leave coverage.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused product role with exposure to strategy. You’ll work closely with experienced product leaders and Agile teams to support delivery, contribute to planning, and help ensure work moves forward effectively.
This role is best suited for someone with early product or business analysis experience who is comfortable in Agile environments and ready to take the next step in developing their product skillset.

What You’ll Do
Product Delivery & Execution
- Support product development by writing and refining user stories and requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros, demos)
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, business stakeholders) to support delivery
- Assist with testing, validation, and ensuring features meet requirements
- Support roadmap planning and prioritization activities
- Help organize work across squads and maintain visibility into progress
- Assist with PI Planning preparation and coordination
- Track tasks, timelines, and dependencies to keep work moving forward
- Contribute to status updates and stakeholder communications
- Support development of presentations and materials for internal audiences
- Assist with tracking feature performance and business impact (value tracking)
- Contribute to a large “Vendor Direct” initiative (as part of a broader team)
- Support smaller “keep-the-lights-on” enhancements focused on continuous improvement
- Gain exposure to backend eCommerce systems and fulfillment operations
Must-Have
- 2–4 years of experience in product, business analysis, project coordination, or similar roles
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum ceremonies, sprint cycles, user stories)
- Ability to write clear, structured user stories and support requirement definition
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Self-starter mindset — able to take initiative and follow through
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with some ambiguity
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Exposure to eCommerce, retail, or operational systems
- Experience supporting product roadmaps or planning processes
- Familiarity with tracking metrics, reporting, or value measurement
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) or interest in learning
- A strong communicator who can collaborate across teams
- Curious and eager to learn how product teams operate
- Comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
- Able to balance structure with flexibility in a changing environment
- Detail-oriented, but able to keep the bigger picture in mind
- Someone who wants to grow into a more senior product role over time
