Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

Description/Role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to temporarily reinforce the Technology & Partnership Reporting team due to a combination of internal replacement and long-term absence.

The consultant will primarily support the Nexus project, a key initiative with strict deadlines, and will play a central role in translating business needs into data-driven insights and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Take over and continue ongoing work within the Nexus project, ensuring deadlines are met
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineers
• Translate business requirements into technical data definitions
• Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using SQL
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards (Qlik)
• Develop end-to-end reporting solutions:
• Understand business needs
• Build SQL queries and calculations
• Create reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (business, operations, data teams)
• Support additional reporting and analytics projects after initial onboarding
• Optionally present insights and results to stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business questions into data solutions
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to quickly take ownership of existing work and deliver under time pressure
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Relevant degree in a quantitative field is a plus

Must have skills:

• Strong SQL expertise (critical requirement)
• Proven hands-on experience (not just theoretical knowledge)
• Experience with reporting and dashboarding
• Experience with Reporting (BI) tools

Ability to:

• Understand business requirements
• Translate them into data queries
• Deliver reporting solutions independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Qlik
• Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience presenting insights to stakeholders
• Familiarity with tools like Jira / Confluence
