Internship – B2B eCommerce Developer (OroCommerce / PHP)

Your Mission

Join us to build a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a B2B webshop targeting the US market.

You will work on a real-life, business-critical project using OroCommerce, an open-source eCommerce platform based on PHP.

This is not a theoretical assignment — your work will directly contribute to shaping a future commercial solution.

What You Will Do

• Set up and configure an OroCommerce-based webshop (open-source edition)
• Develop and customize backend features in PHP
• Contribute to frontend/UI improvements (Symfony / Twig / JS stack)
• Integrate core B2B features (pricing, customer segmentation, workflows)
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders across the US, UK, and Belgium
• Translate business requirements into working software components
• Document architecture, decisions, and learnings from the PoC

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• Solid foundations in PHP and object-oriented programming
• Interest in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of frameworks (ideally Symfony, but not mandatory)
• Curiosity for business processes, especially in B2B environments
• Ability to work in an international and collaborative environment
• Proactive mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude
