Product Manager (ID#5393)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Product Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational guidance for an enterprise Product Management practice within a complex organizational environment. This role will focus on assessing and evolving the current Product Management operating model, strengthening product governance, refining strategic and operational objectives, and supporting the growth and effectiveness of Product Management teams. The successful candidate will work closely with business and delivery stakeholders to define future-state practices, improve product management capabilities, and establish measurable performance frameworks aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing the current Product Management function and identifying opportunities to strengthen, mature, and clarify the role across both business and delivery teams.
• Refining Product Management practice objectives to align with strategic priorities, operational effectiveness, and organizational outcomes.
• Evaluating the capabilities and skillsets of existing Product Managers and identifying development and improvement opportunities for individual team members.
• Reviewing and assessing current Product Management tools, processes, artifacts, and governance practices used within the organization.
• Developing and recommending a future-state Product Management operating model, including a roadmap with clearly defined milestones, goals, and implementation timelines.
• Defining performance measures, KPIs, and success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of the Product Management practice.
• Providing strategic guidance and operational support to Product Management leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with business and delivery teams to improve product governance, alignment, and decision-making processes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing Product Management practices, delivery outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience working as a Product Manager within enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated Product Management experience leading strategic and operational product initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Product Management practices, operating models, governance, and delivery frameworks.
• Experience assessing and improving Product Management capabilities, processes, and organizational maturity.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with business leaders, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizational environments.
