Senior Product Designer - Platform Design

The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers.

The Platform Design team is on a mission to fuel innovation through design. We don’t just build tools — we shape ecosystems and create high-impact solutions that help organizations thrive in an increasingly complex digital world.

As part of the Shipping Our Expertise (SOE) team, you’ll help productize the “Spotify way” into a new generation of SaaS products. This is a unique opportunity to define how leading companies — from global enterprises to fast-moving startups — operate, collaborate, and scale.

What You'll Do

• Frame complex problem spaces and define clear design strategies, exploring multiple directions before landing on strong, well-reasoned solutions
• Own the end-to-end design quality of sophisticated user journeys, ensuring consistency across UX, interaction, and visual language
• Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system for a growing portfolio of external-facing SaaS products
• Design intuitive, high-utility experiences for a wide range of users, from executives to technical specialists
• Translate ideas into clear artifacts such as strategy briefs, high-fidelity concepts, flows, and product specifications
• Represent design in cross-functional forums and influence decisions in high-impact product discussions
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to shape strategy and challenge assumptions
• Support and mentor other designers, helping raise the bar for craft, clarity, and impact across the team
  
  

Who You Are

• You have deep experience designing complex digital products, ideally within platforms, SaaS environments, or scaled tech ecosystems
• You bring strong visual design instincts and care about the details while delivering practical, high-impact user experiences
• You understand how to translate brand into product, creating experiences that feel consistent, human, and purposeful
• You have worked closely with cross-functional partners and know how to navigate ambiguity in fast-moving environments
• You are comfortable shaping product narratives and have experience bringing ideas to life through content and storytelling
• You can simplify complex workflows and design for diverse user needs across different roles and contexts
• You communicate clearly and support your ideas with thoughtful rationale, insights, and data
• You are curious, adaptable, and motivated to grow in an evolving SaaS and platform landscape
  
  

Where You'll Be

• This role is based in London (UK) or Stockholm (Sweden).
• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
