This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office (Bucharest).

🚀 Then what?

Java Technical Architect with over 11 years of experience, responsible for defining and leading the design of scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions. Your mission includes:

• Architectural Evolution: Review existing architectures and collaborate with leadership to migrate systems from local datacenters to cloud platforms.
• End-to-End Leadership: Lead the technical journey from initial idea to production, overseeing planning, development, and testing strategies.
• Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into robust microservices designs and distributed application architectures.
• Governance & Mentorship: Provide architectural oversight through design reviews while mentoring engineers on best practices in software quality and delivery.
• Problem Solving: Support delivery teams in resolving high-level technical challenges and production issues.

Required technical skills:

• Expertise: 11+ years of experience with a focus on Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Architecture: Deep knowledge of Microservices, Cloud design patterns, and Event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Data & Persistence: Proficiency in Spring Data, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).
• Quality: Mastery of API design (REST) and comprehensive testing strategies.
