Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java;
• Develop scalable and secure microservices-based solutions;
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs;
• Ensure code quality through best development practices and code reviews;
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams;
• Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions;
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development;
• More than 6 years working with Java development;
• Hands-on experience with Java versions from Java 8 up to Java 21;
• Solid experience with microservices architecture;
• Experience with:
• Spring Boot
• Spring Cloud
• REST APIs
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines
• Relational and non-relational databases
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Fluent English (mandatory);
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Porto or Lisbon.
