About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join one of our key customers in Luxembourg. This is a pure B2B contractor role for a long-term project (until end of 2026) plus extensions, offering a competitive daily rate of 500 euro.

You will take ownership of both manual and automated testing activities, define the test strategy, and ensure the quality of critical business workflows in a complex enterprise environment.

What you’ll do

Define test strategy, test planning, and prioritisation across multiple streams.

Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated test cases.

Build and maintain Selenium test automation frameworks.

Provision and manage Selenium test environments.

Automate REST API testing using REST Assured.

Validate REST and SOAP web services.

Test complex business workflows built with Temporal (or similar orchestration tools).

Work with Java and TestNG as core automation technologies.

What you bring

Minimum 5 years of professional testing experience.

Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Proven experience with TestNG and REST Assured.

Deep understanding of REST and SOAP services testing.

Experience testing workflow engines (e.g., Temporal, Camunda, Airflow). Ability to define test strategy from scratch and lead testing efforts.

Fluent English (Luxembourgish or French is a plus but not mandatory).

Requirements for the contract

European Nationality OR a valid Luxembourg work permit (mandatory).

Must be available for onsite work in Luxembourg (no remote option).

Willing to operate on a B2B/freelance basis (your own legal entity)
