Day Rate: 475 EUR per day

Role description

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in test automation to support delivery within a dynamic and technology-driven environment. The role will focus on defining and implementing effective testing strategies, ensuring high-quality software delivery across complex systems and business workflows.

You will work closely with development and product teams to design and execute both manual and automated test cases, contributing to robust and scalable testing frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern architectures, including API-driven services and workflow orchestration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategy, including planning, prioritisation and test approach
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium
• Provision and manage Selenium-based test environments
• Perform API testing using REST Assured
• Test REST and SOAP services to ensure functionality and performance
• Validate end-to-end business workflows using tools such as Temporal or similar platforms
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis and support resolution
• Ensure test coverage and maintain documentation of test processes

Key skills and experience

• Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automation testing
• Proficiency in Java and TestNG
• Experience with REST API testing using REST Assured
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services
• Experience testing complex business workflows or orchestration platforms such as Temporal
• Ability to define and implement test strategies and plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
