About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Designer to join our innovative team in Gaydon, a hub of automotive excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging and user-centric interfaces that enhance the digital experience of our automotive products. You will work closely with UX designers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to interpret creative concepts and translate them into visually compelling designs. Your expertise in design systems and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining high standards of visual quality and consistency across all digital touchpoints. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree-level qualification in a related design field such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or Visual Communication. Proven experience working as a UI Designer, particularly within design systems, is essential. A strong portfolio demonstrating previous UI design work, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail is required. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively within cross-disciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with UX and UI design teams to interpret and realize creative concepts, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards.
• Design reusable components and interface elements that are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing, facilitating seamless development handoffs.
• Maintain high visual standards by delivering pixel-perfect UI designs that adhere to complex Human-Machine Interface (HMI) specifications.

• Contribute to the development and continuous evolution of design systems, ensuring they support a cohesive brand narrative across all digital platforms.
