Chief Executive Officer - Private Equity

We are working closely with a Private Equity firm in hiring a CEO / MD for a recently acquired FMCG business with a global presence to lead its UK business through an exciting period of commercial transformation and growth.

This business has built a strong direct-to-market model and is now looking to significantly accelerate its UK presence. What it needs now is a leader who can execute that strategy with precision, bring the team on the journey, and collaborate closely with a world-class global leadership team to drive what comes next.

The role

• Lead the UK business with full P&L ownership, strong autonomy and the backing of a global leadership team
• Drive a clear commercial growth strategy with a strong focus on direct sales, marketing, and brand
• Work hand in glove with international counterparts — leveraging global capability rather than operating as an island
• Build and empower a high-performing leadership team that executes without you in every room
• Be the senior commercial voice in the UK market, building relationships that matter
• Feed local market intelligence back into global strategy in a way that genuinely moves the needle

We are looking for

• A proven CEO, MD, or GM with a strong FMCG background, this is non-negotiable
• Experience in a PE-backed environment, with the commercial rigor that comes with it
• Someone who is deeply strategic you set the direction and achieve through your team, not around them
• A genuine collaborator who sees global as an advantage, not a constraint
• Strong sales and marketing DNA, you understand how to grow a brand directly in market, not just manage one
• Experience working across multiple geographies or reporting into a global head office
• The kind of leader people choose to follow, high standards, high trust, and a genuine investment in the people around them
