Senior Firmware Development Engineer

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Elaboration and implementation of technical solution concepts based on customer requirements
  • Customization and new feature development for mechatronics components
  • Drive engineering excellence by improving processes, tools and knowledge exchange
  • Ability to apply state-of-the-art technologies to fulfill the project goals
  • Working in a cross functional, multicultural and globally spread team

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Computer Science or any other technical degree and experience in software architecture
  • Multi years of knowledge in the embedded software development (C/C++, Git, debugging and testing)
  • Knowledge in the field of microcontroller incl. communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C
  • Communication protocol experience such as EtherCAT, Ethernet, DeviceNet or CC-Link
  • Proficient in leading and directing software architecture initiatives within the team
  • Ensuring effective implementation of design principles and best practices
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, German beneficial
