Purpose of the Job To ensure the quality, accuracy, and effective use of data across the Data Platform, enabling data-driven decision-making by translating business needs into structured, reliable, and meaningful data insights.


Responsibilities of the Job Act as a key link between business and data by ensuring that data is accurate, well-understood, and effectively used across the bank. Analyze and interpret complex data, translating business requirements into clear data definitions, mappings, and documentation. Take ownership of data quality by identifying issues, performing root-cause analysis, and driving improvements.

Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that data solutions meet business needs and enable high-quality analytics and insights. Contribute to solution design and support development teams with data expertise throughout the delivery process.

Promote and apply best practices in data governance, documentation, and metadata management, ensuring that data lineage, definitions, and structures are clearly maintained. Play an active role in the bank’s data transformation journey by strengthening a data-driven mindset, continuously improving data quality, and contributing to a strong, collaborative data community.


Education Level Bachelor's Degree


Experience/Demonstrated Competencies - Previous experience working in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar roles, with a strong focus on - understanding, interpreting, and structuring data in a business context.


  • Having a minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with data engineering, data analysis, or similar data-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience of analysing large and complex datasets, ensuring data quality, and delivering data-driven insights.
  • Experience translating business needs into structured data requirements, mappings, and documentation.
  • Experience working with Data Warehouses or enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile environments, preferably within SAFe or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS) and understanding of data pipelines is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience from banking or financial services is considered an advantage.


Language Competencies Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Additional local language skills are considered an advantage.


Knowledge required You are passionate about working with data and enjoy turning complex information into meaningful insights that create real business value. You are comfortable working in modern data-driven environments and have experience analysing, interpreting, and validating data to support decision-making across both business and technology teams.

You have a strong understanding of data analysis, data quality, and data modelling principles, preferably within Data Warehouses or enterprise data platforms. You are confident working with SQL and large datasets and enjoy digging into details to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Experience with data documentation, metadata management, data lineage, and governance practices is highly valued, as well as the ability to translate business needs into clear and structured technical data requirements. Familiarity with agile ways of working, preferably within SAFe, is considered beneficial.
