In the Microservices and cloud developer role you will work together with a team of top engineers on our newest project to validate and to optimize AI Inference Infrastructures.

KAI Inference Builder (KAI IB) is an emulation and analytics solution designed to validate, benchmark, and optimize AI inference infrastructures and software stacks emulating realistic AI workloads with high fidelity and at scale, providing deep insights into the performance characteristics, capabilities, and security efficacy of inference systems.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an Agile team creating microservices that target the Kubernetes platform using Golang as the primary development language for the backend and Angular for the UI.
• Design, develop, unit test, deploy, debug and verify the correct functioning of the modules at required performance & stability.
• Interact with project managers, leads, other developers and QA teams to understand, scope and specify the features; plan the schedule; design and implement the solutions; perform testing, optimization and bug fixing, all to deliver high quality releases on time.
• Align goals and tasks with teams from other geographical locations.
• Work with other engineers to identify innovative solutions that can be targeted with patents.
• Participate in documentation of functional, design and test specifications.
• Have functional and feature ownership as well as direct accountability for project/feature delivery.

Qualifications

Please apply if you have:

• At least 5 years of development experience in backend Golang, Java or C#.
• Experience developing multithreaded applications that communicate over the network.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, OOP.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and the command line.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Experience programming in Golang.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker and/or another container runtime.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience developing stateless, scalable microservices in any environment.
• Experience developing UI applications with Angular, HTML and CSS
• Experience with RxJs observables and NgRx for state management is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks well.
• Able to mentor others.
• Advanced networking knowledge.
• BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent.
