C++/Linux Engineer

We are looking for a Senior C++/Linux Software Engineer (Wi-Fi Focus) to join our team and drive the development of advanced wireless networking solutions for consumer devices. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies, Linux-based systems, and performance-critical C++ software running on embedded or system-level platforms.

Primary duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ software running on Linux-based systems.
• Lead development of Wi-Fi–related components, services, and system integrations.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and platform teams to deliver robust wireless functionality.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex networking and connectivity issues.
• Optimize performance, stability, and reliability of Wi-Fi subsystems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical direction.
• Review requirements, propose solutions, and drive implementation end to end.
• Perform code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Required skills:

• Extensive professional experience with C++ (modern C++ preferred) on Linux platforms.
• Strong background in Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi concepts:
• roaming, scanning, association, authentication
• WPA/WPA2/WPA3, encryption, coexistence
• throughput, latency, reliability optimization
• Hands-on experience with Linux networking stack and system-level development.
• Strong debugging skills using tools such as gdb, logs, packet captures, and system traces.
• Experience working close to hardware and drivers.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex features.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with embedded Linux or consumer electronics devices.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi chipsets, drivers, and vendor SDKs.
• Experience with network analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark).
• Knowledge of audio streaming, real-time systems, or multimedia pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Exposure to Bluetooth, multi-radio coexistence, or mesh networking.
