AI Innovation Engineer

About An Open Position

We are looking for a creative and hands-on AI Innovation Engineer to join a growing international team and help drive practical AI adoption across software engineering and development processes.

In this role, you will focus on rapid experimentation, AI-powered application development, and implementation of modern AI tools and workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to prototype innovative solutions and promote AI-driven ways of working across the organization.

YOU WILL:

Develop rapid prototypes and experimental applications using AI-powered tools;
Implement prompt engineering solutions and optimize interactions with LLMs;
Build and experiment with AI-driven frontend and backend solutions;
Support adoption of AI coding assistants and modern development workflows;
Collaborate with delivery teams on internal and client-facing innovation initiatives;
Explore new AI technologies, tools, and practical implementation approaches;
Contribute to continuous improvement and experimentation initiatives;
Work in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and requirements.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU WILL BRING:

2+ years of relevant experience in software development or AI-related roles;
Strong Python and general programming skills;
Practical experience with LLMs and prompt engineering;
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure;
Experience with Docker containerization;
Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools;
Basic frontend development skills or willingness to use AI tools for UI creation;
Understanding of modern software development workflows;
Strong communication and collaboration skills;
Adaptable mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies;
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

WOULD BE CONSIDERED A PLUS:

Java programming experience;
Experience with AWS Bedrock;
Experience with Ollama or local LLM deployment;
Background in software engineering research;
Understanding of AI model capabilities and limitations;
Experience with practical AI implementation initiatives.

For this role, we offer a NETO (after taxes) salary range of 2000– 2900 Eur. The final agreement on salary is based on skills and experience.
