Are you our new Senior Payroll Advisor?
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Advisor in Riga to lead and develop the payroll delivery for designated countries within the Norwegian Group, with full ownership of payroll processes, compliance, and quality. To succeed in this role, you can manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and apply a structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented approach. You maintain high attention to detail and deliver consistently high‑quality results. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, work independently with clear ownership, and thrive in a multicultural, international setting.
The role requires deep knowledge of Norwegian payroll, including EDAG (a-melding) reporting and SAP EC Payroll (ECP).

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Own and manage the full end‑to‑end payroll process (A–Z) for Norway
- Ensure accurate and compliant EDAG (a‑melding) reporting
- Serve as subject matter expert in SAP EC Payroll (ECP), driving process improvements and resolving issues
- Maintain strong control points and quality checks across payroll processes
- Lead continuous improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Group Payroll
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian regulations, CBAs, and reporting requirements
- Own month‑end payroll closing, approvals, and payroll account reconciliations
- Support payroll system enhancements and implementation projects
- Act as escalation point for complex payroll cases and system‑related issues
- Denmark payroll may also be included for the right candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong experience with Norwegian payroll, including EDAG (a-melding) reporting
- Hands-on experience with SAP EC Payroll (ECP) is required
- Experience in a multi-country / Nordic payroll environment is an advantage
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
