Our team in Riga is looking for an HR Business Partner to drive our organizational effectiveness and support our leaders. The HRBP will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, ensuring that people, performance, and team structures support the company’s growth. You will help managers succeed, improve processes, and make the organization more effective, while building strong relationships across the company. Your work will have a direct impact on the company’s performance and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering
- Work closely with department leaders to understand team goals, challenges, and gaps.
- Translate business needs into practical HR solutions and actions.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, driving employee engagement initiatives and monitoring team morale
Performance & Talent Management
- Support managers in setting goals, giving feedback, and addressing underperformance.
- Identify high performers and plan succession.
- Ensure fair and consistent practices across teams.
Organizational Design & Scaling
- Define roles, responsibilities, and team structures.
- Advise on team growth and scaling strategies.
Leadership Support & Coaching
- Coach managers on people management, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Improve management capability across the organization.
Employee Relations & Change Management
- Handle complex people situations, including conflicts, performance issues, and exits.
- Support smooth adoption of organizational changes and new processes.
Experience
Required:
- 3+ years in HR roles such as Senior HR Specialist, HRPP / HRBP, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
- Experience advising managers and supporting people-related decisions.
- Experience supporting managers (not just HR ops/recruiting)
- Ability to drive HR initiatives and improve HR processes across the organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have / Big plus:
- Experience scaling teams or companies.
- Experience working with Engineering teams.
