About the Role


An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead complex data center projects within an integrated and forward-thinking engineering environment. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically advanced solutions for mission-critical facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex electrical engineering projects for data center developments.
  • Coordinate and guide project teams through all project phases with a structured and solution-focused approach.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams using integrated digital planning methods and BIM tools.
  • Oversee electrical infrastructure concepts including power supply, redundancy systems, UPS, emergency power systems, safety systems, and monitoring/control technologies.
  • Develop technically and economically efficient solutions for highly available electrical systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, authorities, contractors, and specialist consultants.
  • Work closely with architecture, structural engineering, HVAC, site supervision, and external planning teams.
  • Support sustainable and climate-neutral building concepts for future-ready data center developments.


Requirements

  • Degree or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering (HTL/FH/TU or equivalent).
  • Several years of experience in electrical engineering planning and technical project management within the data center sector.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • UPS systems
  • Emergency power systems
  • Medium- and low-voltage systems
  • Safety and monitoring systems
  • Complex energy supply infrastructure
  • Experience leading and mentoring small, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with interest in BIM and digital planning tools.
  • Fluent German and English communication skills.
  • Independent, structured, and proactive working style.
  • Passion for sustainability and climate-neutral construction.
