iOS Developer

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Apple devices, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain optimal performance
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Adhere to Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Develop and integrate APIs to support mobile functionality
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in iOS development
• Adapt and integrate existing web applications into mobile solutions
• Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an iOS Developer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Swift and experience working with Xcode
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Understanding of UI/UX standards and Apple’s design principles
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and best coding practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern mobile development tools and frameworks
• Experience optimizing app performance and memory management
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

• Strong leadership and facilitation skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
