Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud) to support and manage a hybrid IT environment spanning on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms (Azure & AWS). This role is primarily focused on operational excellence, infrastructure stability, Active Directory administration, cloud operations, and governance compliance.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
• Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration (2016 / 2019 / 2022) including patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting;
• Must have experience in Active Directory (AD DS), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, user/group management, and AD health monitoring;
• Experience managing hybrid cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments;
• Proficiency in cloud operations including Azure VMs, VNets, IAM/RBAC, AWS EC2, S3, VPC, and CloudWatch monitoring;
• Good scripting knowledge in PowerShell for automation, operational reporting, and administrative tasks;
• Experience in cloud and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines;
• Exposure to Terraform / IaC, ITIL-based operational processes, and infrastructure monitoring/governance practices;
• Good verbal and written communication.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience with Terraform, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC);
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or CloudWatch;
• Knowledge of VMware, CyberArk/PAM, Python, or Bash scripting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Windows Server and Active Directory environments including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting;
• Perform day-to-day operations for Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure resources;
• Monitor system performance, security, and infrastructure health to ensure service availability;
• Support user access management, GPO administration, and identity governance processes;
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for operational automation and reporting;
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support incident, change, and audit activities following ITIL processes.
