Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, supporting more than 10 million personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Home Buying domain delivers sustainable home lending outcomes while maintaining strong customer experience, product integrity and regulatory compliance.

We have multiple Product Manager opportunities available within our Home Buying domain. These roles are open to:

• Current CommBank employees, keen to take on a 12‑month secondment, or
• External candidates, joining us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract

These roles sit within the Channel Engagement & Specialised Product Crew, in the Referral Source Program (RSP) Governance & Transformation team. RSP connects third‑party referral partners with CommBank home lending solutions and provides end‑to‑end oversight across governance, regulatory uplift, risk management and continuous improvement.

Do work that matters

As a Product Manager, you’ll own specific areas of the product and support delivery of the RSP strategy. Working closely with the Product Owner and Senior Product Managers, you’ll translate strategy into action and help deliver outcomes that are customer‑centred, commercially sound and compliant.

Operating in a high‑scrutiny environment, you’ll bring sound judgement, disciplined delivery and strong product artefacts to strengthen product integrity and end‑to‑end program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chapter Lead, Product Owner and Senior Product Managers
• Own delivery of initiatives across the RSP roadmap and squad execution
• Deliver safe, compliant products aligned to Design and Distribution Obligations
• Translate strategy into clear product artefacts, controls and backlogs
• Shape product direction through structured problem‑solving and insight
• Own defined components of the RSP end‑to‑end operating model
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Distribution teams
  
  

We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who Have

• Proven Product Management experience, ideally in regulated environments
• Strong understanding of product governance, risk and compliance
• Experience working in matrix environments with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical capability
• Clear, structured written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to balance customer outcomes, commercial needs and risk
• A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
