Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with us to help Earth benefit from space?

Do you want to drive the technical development of physical security in an international environment?

If you answer yes to these questions, we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Security Systems Engineer within Access Control & Security Infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for architecture, standardization, and technical development within access control systems, door environments, intrusion alarms, security cameras, and other integrated security systems.

This is a key role for someone who wants to combine deep technical expertise with structure and long-term development. The role reports into the IT organization and has an international scope, with an initial focus on Sweden.

You will work in an environment connected to critical infrastructure, where access control and security systems play an important role in protecting operations, assets, and information. This requires an understanding of how to design and manage technical solutions in a context shaped by a constantly evolving threat landscape, where risk, vulnerability, and security considerations are part of everyday decision making.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong technical profile who thrives in roles combining specialist expertise, a holistic perspective, and technical leadership.

You have experience working with technical security solutions and understand how they must interact with modern IT infrastructure. You are comfortable moving between strategic discussions and technical details and are able to translate complex requirements into structured, sustainable solutions.

We Believe You Have

  • Several years of experience in a technical role, such as technical engineer, network engineer, or infrastructure specialist, including involvement in the design and or evaluation of technical solutions within relevant areas.
  • Experience with access control systems, door environments, intrusion alarms, security cameras, or other integrated security systems.
  • Strong competence in IT infrastructure and networks, for example IP-based communication, VLANs, switching, routing, segmentation, and firewalls.
  • Experience with integrations between security systems and other technical platforms.
  • Good understanding of technical security requirements and information security related to connected physical security systems.
  • Experience working with requirements definition, documentation, and technical guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.

It Is An Advantage If You Have

  • Experience with ARX.
  • Experience from global or multi-site environments.
  • Experience standardizing technical solutions across multiple sites or countries.
  • Experience working in security-sensitive or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of identity and access integrations.
  • Experience with property-related technology, OT/IoT, or other connected infrastructure in physical environments.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are someone who:

  • Has a strong technical credibility and a high level of self-motivation.
  • Is analytical and structured.
  • Has the ability to bring clarity and direction to complex environments.
  • Works independently while thriving in close collaboration with others.
  • Communicates clearly and builds trust with different stakeholders.
  • Is pragmatic and solution-oriented, able to balance long-term strategy with practical needs.

This is an opportunity for you who want to help build and develop an area of great importance to the organization’s security and future growth. You will have a strategically important role with a broad mandate, international reach, and real influence over architecture, standards, and technical choices.

Responsibilities

As a Security Systems Engineer within Access Control and Security Infrastructure, you will play a central role in shaping and further developing the company’s technical platform within the area.

You will be responsible for developing solutions that are secure, robust, scalable, and sustainable over time, while also being practical and effective for day-to-day operations.

You will act as a key link between security, IT, the business, and external vendors, contributing to the technical direction within the area and supporting the development of a scalable and well-functioning setup. The initial focus will be on establishing a stable foundation in Sweden, followed by a broader rollout in an international environment.

In This Role, You Will, Among Other Things

  • Take a leading role in the technical work within access control systems, ARX, door environments, intrusion alarms, security cameras, and related security systems.
  • Define technical standards, design principles, and target architecture for the domain.
  • Ensure systems are securely and efficiently integrated with networks, infrastructure, and other core platforms.
  • Drive technical decisions and act as a subject matter expert in projects, implementations, and change initiatives.
  • Contribute to creating global, scalable solutions within initial adaptation to Swedish requirements.
  • Define requirements for networking, communication, segmentation, availability, and other technical dependencies for connected security systems.
  • Participate in procurements, technical evaluations, and dialogues with vendors and installation partners.
  • Identify technical risks, improvement areas, and modernization needs.
  • Document architecture, integration points, guidelines, and technical decisions.

Benefits

We offer you

  • A unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects and play an active role in both the Swedish and international space industry.
  • An excellent opportunity for personal and career development.
  • An exciting, international workplace characterized by an open atmosphere and proud employees all over the world.

Additional Benefits

  • In addition to vacation and traditional public holidays, we offer extra paid leave throughout the year, such as time off between Christmas and New Year, Ascension Day, amounting to 6-11 extra days depending on the calendar.
  • Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year.
  • Health benefits such as voluntary health insurance and regular health checks for eligible employees.
  • Access to a benefit bike through a tax-efficient leasing program.
