Private Equity Analyst – Infrastructure

We are hiring an Analyst (1–2 years’ experience) to join the Infrastructure Investment Team of a leading European private markets platform.

This is a strong opportunity for an M&A / Investment Banking Analyst to transition into the buy-side, working across primaries, secondaries, and co-investments within infrastructure.

The platform manages multi-billion-euro programmes for institutional investors and has an established track record across European infrastructure.

What you’ll do

• Support the full investment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, due diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring
• Analyse infrastructure funds and direct/co-investment opportunities across Europe and OECD markets
• Build and review financial models (DCF, LBO, project/asset models) and return analyses
• Prepare investment committee materials (memos, presentations, supporting analysis)
• Contribute to portfolio construction, performance tracking, and reporting
• Support fundraising and client communication activities
• Track key sectors: energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities, social infrastructure

Your profile

• 1–2 years’ experience in M& Investment Bankinge
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Transaction exposure (live deals, due diligence, financial analysis)
• Interest in infrastructure / real assets investing
• Excellent academic background
• Strong communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive
• Fluent English and German
