You know how the reliability of high-voltage infrastructure projects can rapidly become compromised when technical coordination, design consistency and construction execution are not properly managed, especially in the context of multidisciplinary electrical infrastructure projects involving substations, control systems and large-scale transmission network developments.

Job Description

As one of our Project Partners, your objective is to support the technical implementation and engineering coordination of high-voltage infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities Might Include

• Support projects by facilitating coordination, communication and progress towards objectives
• Work in close cooperation with Project Leaders and colleague Project Engineers, while maintaining a strong technical focus within the project environment.
• Participate actively in the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual feasibility studies to project closure.
• Act as the key interface between the design team, technical experts and Project Leader.
• Guide the design team during detailed study activities.
• Communicate and report on project progress.
• Support projects through rational and data-driven assessment and quality oversight
• Safeguard the coherence and quality of designs while monitoring project functionality.
• Detect proactively the consequences of new concepts on project operations.
• Ensure that studies are executed qualitatively and according to the agreed project scope.
• Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented technical execution
• Be responsible for the technical implementation of projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Take the necessary actions to ensure that implementation progresses according to plan.
• Contribute to the technical elaboration of project scope and design activities.
• Carry out various technical studies.
  
  

Profile

• Master’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction.
• Knowledge of electricity grids is considered an advantage.
• Very good command of French and good understanding of Dutch.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical abilities to solve complex technical problems.
• Willingness to work full time within a hybrid setup.
• Ability to work partially onsite in Brussels and travel when required between project locations and sites in Belgium.
• Comfortable working within geographically distributed project environments.
• Entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic as well).
• Fast availability is preferred.
• Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
