About The Role
You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Maintenance Operations Control Center (MOCC), ensuring safe, compliant, and commercially optimized maintenance operations across a large-scale global fleet.
This role plays a critical part in maximizing dispatch reliability, minimizing operational disruptions, and driving proactive, data-driven maintenance through real-time control, advanced aircraft health monitoring, and predictive analytics—all in compliance with QCAA/EASA Part-145 and company standards.

About The Role
You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Maintenance Operations Control Center (MOCC), ensuring safe, compliant, and commercially optimized maintenance operations across a large-scale global fleet.
This role plays a critical part in maximizing dispatch reliability, minimizing operational disruptions, and driving proactive, data-driven maintenance through real-time control, advanced aircraft health monitoring, and predictive analytics—all in compliance with QCAA/EASA Part-145 and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute MOCC strategy for a fleet of ~300 aircraft across multiple types.
- Build scalable processes, governance, and digital capabilities.
- Partner cross-functionally (Engineering, Reliability, Planning, Supply Chain, IOC) to optimize performance.
- Lead continuous improvement to enhance reliability and reduce unscheduled events.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Maintain real-time visibility of fleet technical status and risk exposure.
- Protect schedule integrity through effective coordination with IOC and operations teams.
- Identify and manage technical risks, with clear escalation and recovery strategies.
- Develop dashboards delivering real-time fleet performance insights.
- Apply predictive analytics to identify risks and drive proactive interventions.
- Translate data into action through reporting, defect prioritization, and continuous improvement.
- Lead global AOG response and recovery efforts.
- Deliver rapid, data-driven solutions to minimize disruption and commercial impact.
- Drive root-cause improvements and communicate clearly with senior leadership.
- Advance MOCC digital capabilities, including health monitoring and predictive systems.
- Enhance decision-making through real-time data, automation, and analytics.
- Deliver measurable improvements in reliability, cost, and operational efficiency.
- Lead predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Integrate real-time health data into planning and operations.
- Optimize preventive and opportunistic maintenance to maximize aircraft availability.
- Lead and develop a high-performing 24/7 MOCC team.
- Build organizational capability through talent development and succession planning.
- Align team objectives with business priorities and drive a culture of excellence.

Qualification
About You
You are an accomplished maintenance operations leader with deep technical knowledge, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You bring a track record of leading teams, improving fleet reliability, and using data and technology to deliver safer, smarter maintenance outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with significant experience in aircraft maintenance, maintenance control, or airline engineering operations.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including leadership responsibility within a maintenance or operational support environment.
- Strong understanding of airworthiness, maintenance compliance, and airline operational requirements, ideally within QCAA/EASA-regulated environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and make high-quality decisions that balance safety, compliance, operational continuity, and commercial impact.
- Experience with aircraft health monitoring, reliability analysis, predictive maintenance, or digital maintenance systems will be highly advantageous.
- Experience leading or supporting systems integration and adaptation initiatives, with project management expertise and advanced working knowledge of AMOS systems to drive operational efficiency.
- An aircraft maintenance license and prior exposure to multi-fleet, 24/7 airline operations would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to promote collaboration, engage cross-functional stakeholders, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to lead operational meetings, facilitate discussions, and demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to innovate and transform the MOC into a modern, efficient, and performance-driven function.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to drive data-led decisions, utilising tools such as Power BI to develop insightful dashboards that enhance visibility and performance.
