Full Stack Engineer

I'm partnered with a brokerage firm in Amsterdam who specialise in the renewable energy market, particularly biofuel and are hiring for a Full-stack Engineer on a permanent basis.

They facilitate trades between over 700 partners across Europe, Asia, and America, with over €10 billion in deal value intermediated

Today's team:

• 2 UX/UI/Frontend developers
• 1 Full-stack developer
• 1 Backend developer
• 1 Data Scientist
• 1 Data Engineer

Products:

1. CRM, reporting, and deal lifecycle
2. Price assessment tool with B2B revenue potential

Candidate Experience

• 2+ years in backend development with focus on backend technologies.
• Preferably from: fintech, commodity brokers, market data providers, or data-heavy startups
• Track record of scaling systems from small to large

Technical Skills (in business terms)

• Strong Typescript and API skills.
• Experienced using technologies like Python and React.js
• Node.js is a nice too have.
• Experience with modern cloud technologies (cost-efficient scaling)
• Understands real-time vs batch processing trade-offs
