The Role
• Plan, install, configure, and administer network components like switches and access points.
• Manage and enhance the company-wide network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN.
• Monitor network operations, analyze faults, and resolve issues through 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Administer and advance network security components such as firewalls, NAC, VLANs, and authentication systems.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Participate in IT projects, including site networking, network segmentation, and WLAN optimization.
What You'll Need
• Completed IT-related apprenticeship or a relevant degree.
• Several years of experience in network administration, preferably in medium-sized company environments.
• Solid knowledge of network hardware from reputable manufacturers (e.g., Cisco, HPE Aruba, Ruckus).
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Allegro Packets).
• Proficient in network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, STP, etc.
• Basic IT security knowledge and a desire to grow in this area.
