Cyber Security Analyst

We are working with a leading organisation that is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to join their existing team. This company is at the forefront of protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring robust digital defenses for its clients.

The Role

  • Monitor active SIEM solutions and platforms for security threats
  • Investigate and triage security alerts and incidents
  • Act as an escalation point for junior analysts, providing mentorship
  • Ensure infrastructure and data security through layered controls like EDR and Email Security
  • Oversee security assessments across various security domains
  • Provide direct updates to stakeholders regarding security incidents
  • Undertake analysis of emerging threats and support playbook production

What You'll Need

  • 3-4+ years' experience in a Security Operations or SOC-based role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft security stack (Entra, Defender, Sentinel)
  • Strong technical understanding of security alert/incident management and cyber threats
  • Proven experience of robust incident response within defined SLAs
  • Experience using SIEM, SOAR, and Email Security tooling
  • Ability to mentor and upskill junior team members
