About the Role:

We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join Aircraft Programs team as Supplier Quality Engineer - Level III (Cabin & IFE) in Supplier Quality department.

As a member of the Supplier Quality Team, individuals in this capacity are expected to perform in a unified, coordinated team effort under the direction of the Supplier Quality Manager. Establish partnerships with key suppliers to ensure the product is within the specification ensuring that all related deficiencies are properly documented and corrected. Those deficiencies that cannot be corrected are imbedded in the associated commitment letter for improvement investigation and resolution as agreed while achieving cost containment. Supports Manager Supplier Quality and deputise in his absence in effective management of Supplier Quality team activities.

Accountabilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Perform all new supplier products' Source Inspections (Sl) related to Cabin Interior & IFE systems prior delivery to Qatar Airways or designated MRO's to make sure the products is as per the specification and free of any quality manufacturing defects.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product quality and verify the implementation of the solution.
• Conduct supplier audits on Cabin Interior & IFE systems' to drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule.
• Work with Vendor & Contract performance section to monitor the supplier KPl's and to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Establish specific short / long term supplier quality goals.
• Participate in the establishment of Cabin Interior & IFE Supplier performance metrics.
• Drive "Zero Defect" mentality within the supplier base.
• Coordination with internal departments for resolution of Cabin Interior or IFE related in-service issues of new products/systems.
• Support the Manager Supplier Quality and deputise in his absence on the coordination of all Supplier Quality activities with suppliers and all relevant departments/parties.
• Provide guidance and technical advice on related Cabin Interior & IFE systems to other Supplier Quality Engineers — Level I & Level Il.

Qualification

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with minimum 6 years of job related experience
• Good understanding of retrofit development phase function
• Knowledge of Quality documents & IAQG standards
• Understanding of the project budgeting & estimation
• Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross-functionally and globally).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools
• Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
