Project Manager

Role Overview

Our client, a leading design and construction consultancy, is seeking an experienced

Project Manager to oversee a major retail construction project in Dubai. The ideal

candidate will bring strong consultancy-side project leadership, excellent stakeholder

management, and the ability to drive both design development and construction delivery

from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client objectives, programme,

budget, and quality standards.

• Manage and coordinate the design process across Concept, Schematic, and Detailed

Design stages, ensuring timely delivery of all design packages.

• Review and approve design submissions, drawings, specifications, and technical

documents.

• Oversee construction progress, contractor performance, site activities, and compliance

with project requirements.

• Chair progress, design, and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and

client representatives.

• Identify risks, manage change control, and ensure proactive resolution of technical

and design-related issues.

• Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, international codes, and best-practice

standards.

• Prepare project reports, dashboards, and updates for senior leadership and client

stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within the consultancy

sector.

• Proven experience delivering retail, mixed-use, or commercial projects in the UAE

or GCC.

• Strong capability in design management, including coordination of multidisciplinary

teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (PMP preferred).
