Want to build cloud-native backend systems with Go from day one?

We are looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable services with Golang, enjoys working in modern cloud-native environments, and is comfortable taking ownership in production systems.

This role is totally focused on Go backend development. We are looking for engineers who have already worked with Go in real projects, contributed to production systems, handled debugging and operational issues, and delivered backend features end to end. While Go will be the primary technology, we also expect candidates to have prior experience with Java/Spring Boot, since some services and integrations within the ecosystem are Java-based.

You will work on backend services, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native components running in containerized environments. The team values clean engineering practices, strong ownership, reliable sprint delivery, code reviews, observability, and production readiness. We are looking for someone who not only understands the tools, but has actively used them in real-world systems and can independently move work to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Golang experience in backend or microservice development
• Minimum 1 year of Java & Spring Boot experience
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience with concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels, synchronization primitives)
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, service communication, and API design
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and good SQL fundamentals
• Experience with cloud-native development and infrastructure concepts
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes (deployments, pods, services, configs)
• Experience working in AWS environments is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Git, PR/code review workflows, and testing practices

Must-Have

• Proven experience developing and maintaining production backend systems with Go
• Experience debugging production issues and performing root cause analysis
• Strong practical understanding of API design, validation, error handling, and logging
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
• Experience working with relational databases in real-world systems
• Comfortable working independently and owning features end to end
• Strong engineering mindset: “I used it, I debugged it, I shipped it.”
